Greetings to and blessings on the entire Hem Sheela Model School family! I can’t believe that it has been nearly two decades since my first trip to see the crown jewel of Durgapur, West Bengal, India! You have accomplished so much in that time and given your sister school, Drury University, much to be proud of! In many ways you have found a path forward that is the envy of nearly every school in India! The excellence achieved in the classroom between the students and the faculty is truly a model for all schools! We would love to have a number of your graduating seniors come to Drury and further your education here! There is a great debate occurring around the world questioning the value of higher education. That debate gets a huge lift when people see the impact a Hem Sheela education has on its students! Simply amazing! We are so proud of you and what you are accomplishing half way around the world.
