Felicitation Ceremony 2025

Durgapur, July 12: Hem Sheela Model School hosted a grand Felicitation Ceremony to honour the meritorious students of the institution for their outstanding academic performance in the AISSCE and AISSE examinations. The event was graced by Dr. Sourav Chatterjee, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Durgapur, who attended as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Dr. Chatterjee, symbolising the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge and wisdom. Following this, the Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of hard work, perseverance, and the vital role students play in shaping the future of the nation.

Mr. Bibekananda Koner, President of the School; Mr. Goutam Roy, Assistant Secretary; Miss Anindita Home Choudhury, Principal; and Mr. Indrashish Roy, Senior Vice Principal, also addressed the gathering, applauding the students for their achievements and encouraging them to strive for greater heights.

The highlight of the program was the felicitation of the school toppers — the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position holders — who were personally honoured by the Chief Guest. In addition, students who secured more than 90% marks in the AISSCE and AISSE examinations were felicitated for their commendable performance.

The ceremony also recognised students who had excelled in various competitive examinations, further reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing all-round excellence.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a message of encouragement for all students to continue their pursuit of academic and personal growth with dedication and integrity.
