Dr. Roy’s Birthday was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm at the school assembly ground in the presence of all students, teachers, Principal, Vice Principal, all school staff members, and the respected Founder Member. The occasion was marked by a spirit of respect and remembrance for the late Founder President, Dr. Roy, whose vision and dedication continue to inspire the entire Hem Sheela family.
The program commenced with the ceremonial garlanding of Dr. Roy’s photograph by the school Head Boy and Head Girl, along with members of the Student Council. This was followed by a series of heartfelt performances by the students to honour Dr. Roy. Students delivered speeches highlighting his contributions, sang melodious songs, and played musical instruments, all as a tribute to his lasting legacy
The celebration was further enriched by inspiring speeches from the Principal and Vice Principal, who recalled Dr. Roy’s life, achievements, and his vision for the school and society. Their words reminded everyone of the values Dr. Roy stood for and urged the students to follow his footsteps.
The event also featured a prize distribution ceremony. Certificates were awarded to academic achievers as well as to students who maintained 100% attendance in the previous academic year, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and commitment.
The celebration concluded on a solemn yet inspiring note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of purpose and pride in being a part of the institution founded by such a visionary leader.
